Unveiling Ceremony of PHSB Institute of Compass Management and Appointment Ceremony of Distinguished Professor

On the afternoon of April 21st,the unveiling ceremony of “PHSB Institute of Compass Management”and appointment ceremony of distinguished professor was held in C125. Mr. Yongxiang Xu, Dean of the Executive Development Program (EDP) of PHSB presided over the ceremony. The Chairman of Shenzhen Airlines Mr. Kun Li, the President of Shenzhen Zhuojia Group Co.,Ltd Mr. Zhenbo Zhuo, the President of Shenzhen International Group Co.,Ltd Mr. Zheng Wang and Mr. Lang Zhou, head of economic liaison office of Shenzhen General Chamber of Commerce(SGCC) showed up. Dean Hai, Vice president of PKU & President of PHSB, Mr. Vincent Chang  as well as  Mr. Wei Wei , two Vice Presidents of PHSB and PHSB students attended the ceremony.

 

 

 

In the beginning, Mr. Yongxiang Xu introduced the presented leaders and honored guests and the Institute of Compass Management. The compass management model was initiated by Mr. Kun Li and he also developed it into a company management model with distinct Chinese characteristics. The cooperation aims to combine the theoretical advantage of PHSB with the practical achievements of Shenzhen Airlines. 
 
The unveiling of Institute of Compass Management by Mr. Hai and Mr. Li declared the establishment of PHSB Institute of Compass Management. Mr. Hai issued the letter of appointment to appoint Mr. Kun Li as the Distinguished Professor of PHSB.
 
After the appointment ceremony, Dean Hai pointed that the cooperation was another milestone in the development of PHSB as well as the development of Chinese management theories. After the reforming and opening up, China has entered into a transitional stage from a planned economy to a market economy. Enterprises are important units in market economy, and the effectiveness of their management has profound significance for China's economic development. PHSB and Shenzhen airlines should share the responsibility for the development of management theory in China.



 

In the end, the leaders and guests took photos and the ceremony ended in an atmosphere of harmony and joy.
