Reward and Punishment Regulations Come into Effect

On the evening of May 21st , HSBC School of Business held a class meeting in D Building. Professor Wen Hai, Vice President of Peking University and President of HSBC School of Business, Professor Vincent Chang and Professor Wei Wei, Vice Presidents of HSBC School of Business, administration staff, and all students attended the meeting.

At the beginning, Professor Chang stated the mission of HSBC School of Business, "Contributing to the development of cutting-edge knowledge in the business fields and cultivating visionary, principled, and diverse leaders for China and the world." He also emphasized that promoting HSBC School of Business as a military school for the business community is the mission of everyone at HBSC School of Business.

 

 

Professor Wen Hai announced regulations taking effect on 22nd May. The Honors Committee and Disciplinary Board have been established, combining the President, Vice President, administrative staff, and representatives of teachers and students. The Committee and Board have the rights of appeal, decision, and final explanation of all matters related to school disciplinary action and awards.

 

 

The regulations have won the wide support from the faculty and approval of the School Council.  HSBC School of Business will strictly follow these regulations and create a distinct characteristic of HSBC School of Business in the process of establishing a military school for the business community.

Professor Wen Hai made the following three requests to all the students from three grades. First, be inspirational and visionary; second, behave properly as an educated person; third, be active and capable. He also said that he hoped all students would be motivated by the mission of establishing a military school , and would improve in the above three aspects, contributing to the school’s progress.
