On October 31, Kondarl Group, the 35-year-old Chinese agricultural industry pioneer, announced the resignation of company president Luo Aihua and that Ji Shengzhi would step into the role. A 2009 graduate of the dual master’s degree program in finance at the Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) and Hong Kong University, Ji earned his bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Renmin University.

Since joining Kondarl in 2013, Ji has served as the company’s president of Qianhai Investment Limited Corporation in Shenzhen, as well as its president of Real Estate Development Limited Corporation. His prior experience includes manager in the asset management department of CMBI International Capital Limited Corporation. While at PHBS, he  served as deputy president of the Youth League Committee of the Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School.

It is anticipated that Ji’s experience as a special analyst and his deep understanding of the agricultural industry and rich experience in the financial sector will benefit Kondarl as it expands its interests in  agriculture, public service, real estate, and financial investment.

It is said that Ji Shengzhi will to lead Kondarl into a leadership postion in the agricultural internet finance sector. Kondarl is going to use internet finance to solve the weakness of traditional agricultural finance and provide enough funding for rural agriculture. By expanding in rural areas, Kondarl may become the biggest rural financial platform in China.
