In AUGUST 2009, Peking University HSBC School of Business was recognized as a member of AACSB. Recently, AACSB has passed the resolution to officially list Peking University HSBC School of Business on the accreditation agenda. Thus, PHSB has made the first step towards AACSB accreditation.

AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), set up in 1916, is a non-profit organization consisting of business schools, social associations and other organizations. Committed to enhancing the education of business administration and accounting, AACSB is among the best choice for accreditation for schools which hold Bachelor, Master and PhD programs in business administration and accounting. Business schools with AACSB all boast their first-class education in the entire world. At present, less than 6% of business schools in the globe has won the AACSB accreditation.

AACSB accreditation will help Peking University HSBC School of Business further promote its internationalising process in which PHSB will enlarge its horizon and enhance the school's comprehensive strength through mutual exchanges with other advanced overseas schools.

In the years to come, PHSB will witness the key period for AACSB accreditation when AACSB will evaluate the Faculty, management, future development, R&D and academic programs of PHSB in accordance with the international standard. AACSB will conduct field study and exchanges with faculty and students in our school, and propose constructive advises for our future progress.
