Peking University HSBC Business School Holds Farewell Party and Dinner for 2014 Graduates

On June 27, Peking University HSBC Business School held its annual farewell party for graduates in the PHBS auditorium. 


At the beginning of the gathering Professor Vincent Chang, INSERT HIS TITLE HERE gave a speech titled, “We Are All Graduates.”  Then Professor Zhang said that HE OR SHE? hoped that all students will have high aspirations regardless of gains and losses and encouraged them to listen their hearts and to become a person who knows hisor her own mind.


Professor Tong Naqiong provided remarks in four suggestions for the students. First, opportunity belongs to those who have prepared very well and people should work hard for it. Second, keep a positive attitude, and opportunity will be everywhere. Third, never stop learning. Finally, become a kind-hearted and considerate person, which will make the world more beautiful. Then graduate representatives of each class gave one minute speeches.


PHBS Dean Hai Wen spoke next, beginning with , “I work harder than you can imagine. ” He explained that he hoped that students can come up similar words for self motivation for times when they want to give up.  








 
The assembly closed with PHBS students presenting a song and dance performance. Afterwards, everyone traveled to Kylin Villa for the graduation dinner. 


In his keynote remarks following the dinner, Professor Hai Wen delivered a personal message to the graduates—to believe. First of all, believe in yourself, and believe that you can set a goal and complete it. Second, believe in others. Mutual support and cooperation are needed in life and we should believe in others. At the same time behave in such a way as to inspire others’ belief n you because it’ is precious to gain trust from others. Finally, believe in the future; believe that all of us will accomplish something in the future.
