2. One photocopy of your valid passport (passport type must be ordinary).
3. Official transcripts of your academic achievement up to the present, including courses taken
and standard achieved, must be original documents or certified copies either in Chinese or
English;
4. Master's degree thesis (for fresh graduates in master program, please submit the abstract and
table of contents of your thesis) and/or published academic papers and other original research
results.
5. A personal statement (3000 words, in Chinese and English). The template can be downloaded at
here;
6. Two recommendation letters from your referees. The referees should be professors or persons
with relevant academic
title. At least one of them should have knowledge of your recent academic work. The
recommendation letter must be
original documents either in Chinese or English. Two recommendation letters should be uploaded
in the application

7. Official copies of GRE score, and non-native English speakers are required to submit TOEFL
score (iBT 100 points or above, no sub score below 22);
8. Official copy of your HSK test transcript;
9. Your CV in Chinese and English;
10. Table of contents and abstracts of your academic publications and any other original
achievement in your field.
11. Original degree certificate and degree verification report in Chinese or English. For degree
certificates in other
languages, applicants are required to upload both the original copy and a notarized copy in
Chinese or English. Degree
diplomas awarded by overseas universities must be authenticated by the Chinese Service Center
for Scholarly Exchange,
Ministry of Education, P. R. China (
CSCSE). Degree
diplomas awarded by universities on the Chinese mainland must be
authenticated by the Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P. R.
China (
CSSD).
12. Applicants expected to graduate in 2024 must provide an official letter from their current
university stating their
expected graduation date, submit their certificate of graduation upon being pre-admitted, and
present their original
degree diploma upon registration.
