On August 18, a delegation led by Joon-Kyung Kim, dean of the Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management (KDI School), visited Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS). Wang Pengfei, Peking University Boya distinguished professor and dean of PHBS, along with Young Joon Park, associate dean of PHBS, held a meeting with the visiting guests.

Wang Pengfei extended a warm welcome and provided an overview of the school, covering its development history, educational philosophy, academic programs, faculty strength, research publications, and international collaborations. Joon-Kyung Kim shared the historical background, research achievements, alumni network, and cooperation experiences of the KDI School. As the educational arm of the Korea Development Institute (KDI), the nation's leading economic think tank, KDI School was established in 1997 and draws from a wealth of research and resources to share Korea's unique development experience with the global community.
Subsequently, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as innovation ecosystems and regional development, innovation collaboration among universities, student cultivation, and international rankings.

Prior to the meeting, Joon-Kyung Kim and his delegation toured the school's exhibition hall, data center, and future media lab, among other distinctive facilities. Young Joon Park briefed the visitors on the construction, management, and utilization of these facilities.
