Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) held its admissions webinar for 2021/22 intake on May 12. This webinar featured an information session and a Q&A session to get admitted students well prepared for the on-boarding procedures and postgraduate programs. Around 78 students attended the webinar and raised questions concerning their future study at PHBS.
Professor Young Joon Park, assistant dean of international affairs, provided a detailed introduction on the course arrangement, including Chinese language courses, math placement exams as well as course exemption. He also talked about the school’s policies, online courses, and resources. In addition, International office spoke on the on-boarding procedures, covering registration, enrollment, visa application, and tuition fee.
Professor Guy Liu, the head of the UK campus, elaborated on curriculum design, course arrangement, accommodation and transportation on the UK campus to help them know more about the cross-board programs. In addition, he gave students detailed information about on-boarding procedures.
Manon Heitzler, president of international student union, spoke on topics related to the student union, student associations as well as activities on campus. Adel Moin from UK campus shared his study experience and gave students advice on the cross-border program.
In the Q&A session, PHBS international office answered more than 150 questions, including math exams, visa, scholarships, on-campus accommodation, and border control. The office also provided advice on document preparation, internships, course selection and exemption.
