The foundation laying ceremony of PHSB’s new building was successfully held in the morning of 6th, Jan, 2010. Vice mayor Xu Qin, president of HSBC Shenzhen, Qu Jiazhi, Vice president of Peking University, Hai Wen, and other vice deans of Shenzhen graduate school as well as professor Minsoo Lee, professor Weiwei attended the foundation laying ceremony.

 
President Hai emphasized the mission of HSBC School of Business, which is to foster the future business leaders for China and the world. President Hai expressed his sincere gratitude to the leaders of bank of HSBC, Shenzhen government, EDP students and our full-time graduate students.

Vice mayor Xu Qin highly praised PHSB’s commitment to be the world-class business school and promised Shenzhen government would give unwavering support to its development.

Former vice president of Peking University and the chancellor of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, present vice chairman of GuangXi Autonomous Region, Chen Zhangliang also made his time to attend the foundation laying ceremony. Mr Chen gave praises and acknowledgement of the development of HSBC School of Business and wished PHSB a prosperous future.

Professor Yang Juan, Student Yuan Qia both shared with us their feelings and best wishes for HSBC School of Business. During the following part, all guests, professors and students put their wishes for PHSB to the wish box and it will be opened on 8th Oct, 2054, the 50th anniversary of the founding of PHSB.
