Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) has been ranked 47th globally and seventh in the Asia-Pacific region in the 2026 QS Executive MBA Rankings, released on April 29 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).
The latest edition includes 215 standalone EMBA programs across 58 countries and territories, along with 31 joint programs. U.S. and European institutions continue to dominate the upper ranks, while Asia-Pacific schools maintain a steady presence. The ranking assesses programs across five indicators: Employer Reputation, Thought Leadership, Career Outcomes, Executive Profile, and Diversity.

Among them, PHBS improved its regional standing this year, moving up from eighth to seventh in Asia-Pacific. The school was once again ranked first in the Chinese Mainland, maintaining its lead in the country's EMBA offerings in four consecutive years. It is one of two Chinese Mainland business schools in the global top 50, alongside Fudan University (50th). Chinese Mainland leads the region with eight ranked business schools.
In the Thought Leadership category, PHBS ranked 20th globally and was the top-performing business school in Asia-Pacific, with a score of 79.9 — well above the global average of 44.8. Under Career Outcomes, the school earned a subcategory score of 93.6 in the Graduates Promoted indicator — up from 92.2 in 2025 — reflecting the strong career competitiveness and development potential of its graduates. In Diversity, PHBS recorded 91.9 for Non-Male Representation, highlighting its international perspective and commitment to gender equality.
Established in Shenzhen and rooted in Peking University's academic legacy, PHBS offers business education with an international outlook. The school holds the "Triple Crown" — AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS accreditations — placing it among the top 1 % of business schools worldwide.
