Abstract
An introduction to scientific entrepreneurship and to the course I have designed specifically for science/technology/medicine/engineering students, academics and practicing professionals interested in entrepreneurial ventures based on their scientific innovations. Prof. Roth’s academic career has combined investment finance, strategic consulting, industry R&D and start-up executive management. He earned his BA from Cornell University, PhD in medicinal chemistry from Columbia and postdoctoral fellowship from the University of Oxford. Prof. Roth is now Lecturer in science-based entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford, where he has also been appointed the Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence to work with spinouts and industry relationships across the University’s four divisions.
