Vice Dean of PHSB Vincent Chang invited to State Banquet

In the evening of 27th Sept, Mr. Vincent Chang, Vice Dean of Peking University HSBC School of Business, Prof. Jeffrey Lehman, Dean of the International Law School were invited, as the representatives of cultural and educational circles in Shenzhen, to the State Banquet in the Great Hall of the People on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of People's Republic of China. 

Mr. Li Keqiang, Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, attended the banquet and delivered a speech. Mr. Li extended heartfelt thanks to all the overseas scholars and experts for their endeavor and contribution to 
China's development in various circles. All the achievement by the scholars and experts will be remembered by the nation and its people. 

Mr. Vincent Chang, Vice Dean of HSBC School of Business, won his Bachelor's degree in 
National Taiwan University, Master's degree in the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, Master's degree in School of Management Yale University, PhD Economics in MTI, PhD in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science in UC Berkeley. Mr. Vincent also has working experience as directors in overseas corporations such as ExxonMobil, J.P. Morgan, McKinsey. 

Prof. Jeffrey Lehman, Dean of the International Law School, was once the President of Cornell University and the Chair of Joint Center for China-US Law and Policy Studies. Prof. Jeffrey won his D.J. in Institute for Public Policy Research in 
University of Michigan. He has served as Dean of the University of Michigan Law School, Law Clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, and President of the American Law Deans Association.
