Security Investment Association (S.I.A) is a student association of Peking University, founded by students from Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) who share the same interests of doing research of investment. Based on PHBS, SIA is focusing on developing the members’ abilities and potentials, building members’ investment awareness. Founded by 2006 grade students from PHBS in October 2007, SIA now has 3 departments: Academic, Publicity and Liaison Department. SIA is holding the purpose of “Focusing on capital market, Building investment awareness, Developing greatest potentials”, trying best to provide the best opportunities for members to learn and do research on investment and finance. Practical exercises are provided to enrich members’ knowledge structure and build their keen insight and strong analytical abilities, which is a solid foundation for their future development.
