The Fixed Income Investment Association at Peking University HSBC Business School was founded by a group of students who shared a common interest in the direction of FICC. The association's primary objectives include focusing on financial practice, strengthening industry ties, building a platform for academic exchange, promoting inheritance and networking, and cultivating talented individuals for core positions in the financial industry, especially in the FICC field.
 
The association places a strong emphasis on hosting excellent lecture activities. These activities are categorized into three areas:

  • FICC Frontier Voice features talks from prominent experts in the FICC industry, providing members with unique insights and perspectives.
  • FICC Seminar - an annual is the premier academic and industry gathering in the FICC field, providing opportunities for members to engage in academic exchange and industry networking.
  • FICC Tea Party connects FICC Association members with experienced industry mentors and alumni, fostering a community of mutual support and learning, and providing opportunities to share experiences and exquisite products knowledge.

 

At least one industry expert from renowned financial institutions, including BNP Paribas, JPMorgan Chase, Bosera Fund, CICC, CITIC Securities, Ping An Group, etc., mentors every two members of the association. FICC members complete financial practice studies and topic research under their guidance, which provides them with first-hand practical experience, even if they are still on campus. gaining first-line practical experience even if they are on campus.

Members of the association have the opportunity to engage in formal networking events such as business dinners and coffee talks with their mentors to expand their financial networks and enhance their professional development. The association always adheres to the principle of 'putting the needs of members first' and prioritizes the activities that are centered on student’s growth: mentors are chosen by FICC members, and the topics of lectures are determined according to their intentions.
