China’s thriving economy now more than ever is playing a crucial role in the global business world. In response, PHBS developed the MBA program to prepare the kind of business leaders who can meet the demand of 21st century enterprises.
Located in Shenzhen, China’s first special economic zone and a vibrant new frontier for innovation and commerce, the PHBS MBA program delivers challenging coursework that underpins professionalism, shapes business expertise, and focuses on ethical practices.
The full-time program is conducted in English on weekdays, and the part time program is delivered in Chinese on weekends. The course of study provides top-quality management education in the economics, management, and finance fields for students with an innovative spirit. General management theory is framed in an international context for deep understanding of today’s global business arena.
Many of our faculty are international, including native English speakers and those with professional experience in the business world.
Students come to PHBS from every corner of China – and even beyond its borders – to create strong bonds for networking and lifelong mutual support. Events and activities throughout the academic year encourage and support these relationships. As a result, PHBS alumni groups have been established across China that actively promote the school and support members as they branch out and grow their careers.
As an international-oriented business school, PHBS continuously develops partnerships with well-respected universities around the world to prepare students for leadership across a number of fields.  In November 2016, the Zicklin School of Business (ZSB) and PHBS signed a strategic agreement to offer the MBA-MSF (Master of Business Administration–Master of Science in Finance dual degree program to take advantage of both schools’ educational strength. The dual program is tailored for dynamic professionals looking to define new outcomes for themselves and their careers, and it particularly focuses on supporting career entry and development in the financial sectors.
Part of Baruch College of City University of New York (CUNY), the Zicklin School of Business was established in 1919 and today is AACSB accredited. Deliberately located in New York City near Wall Street, the school is known for its high quality education in the financial field. ZSB is the largest school of CUNY with over 14,000 students, including 2,000 master’s students across more than 10 majors.
Students admitted into the dual degree program will complete their MBA courses at PHBS in their first year and then study for the MSF degree at ZSB in New York in their second year. They will be awarded both the MBA degree and the MSF degree once degree requirements are fulfilled.
