Abstract


China is leading the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), which will create nearly $1 trillion of megaprojects around the world. However, the implementation of megaprojects is no easy task. What salient challenges BRI investments may face? How to avoid the most common pitfalls of megaproject? Why BRI needs a deeper technological orientation? Professor Atif Ansar will give us a detailed illustration of opportunities, challenges, and technology of China’s BRI.
