PHBS held its 2020 Student Forum on July 3-6, attracting around 140 excellent students from key universities nationwide, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and Renmin University of China.The school strictly implemented the provisions of Peking University and Shenzhen regarding epidemic prevention and control to ensure the safety of all the participants. A full schedule of the four-day event featured academic sessions, paper presentations, team building activities and a dialogue with PHBS faculty.

After the opening ceremony, students participated in seven academic sessions related to their research papers including such topics as international trade and finance, corporate governance and business management, micro-financial markets and banking, macroeconomy and policy research, socioeconomic research, cyber finance and economics, media and social research. It provided them a rare chance to present their research in English and engage in face-to-face academic discussions with PHBS faculty.

It was followed by team building activities and a talent show featuring choruses, dance performances, and skits with a number of students from different universities participating.

Participants also attended a face-to-face dialogue with PHBS professors. Five faculty members introduced the school's programs, their research experience, and answered students' questions regarding program curriculum and hot topics issues.

At the closing ceremony, Associate Professor Ma Linlin gave a summary of the academic sessions and shared her views on how to conduct research. Student representative Wang Siqi expressed her gratitude to PHBS faculty, staff as well as volunteers, and shared her memorable experience at the forum.
