Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) held its 2022 New Year Party themed"Wisdom Leads to the Future" this week. Faculty, students, guests and alumni converged to celebrate the achievements in the past year and welcome the New Year.

The evening party kicked off by the song "New Boy" performed by a student band and an opening video, which featured heartfelt wishes and greetings from PHBS faculty and MA students.

Dean Hai delivers remarks
In his remarks, Dean Hai Wen recalled the school's achievements in 2021 in terms of research, academic activity, and international cooperation. He maintained that we need to cope with the unprecedented changes in a more complex world with a higher vision and deeper wisdom; the school will continue to strengthen its academic influence, social impact, and global presence.

The party featured a banquet, award ceremonies, and various student performances. One of the most applauded performances was the dance “South of the Clouds", which incorporated traditional Chinese music and dance moves. The song "Can't Help Falling in Love" performed by Nanyan Art Troupe was well choreographed and melodious. The highlight that evening was a chorus performed by our faculty members, which showed their deep affections and gratitude to the school and students.
