PHBS Holds 2022 PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition Semi-finals

Jointly initiated by Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) and the Cambridge Judge Business School (CJBS), 2022 PHBS-CJBS Global Pitch Competition Semi-finals (International Division) was successfully held on November 24, 2022.

After a total of 13 roadshows and comprehensive recommendations for the 2022 season, a total of 46 teams entered the semi-final stage. The International Semi-finals (International Division) consisted of 12 projects from the United States, Canada, Japan, Singapore, and China. They are (According to presentation sequence):

 
1. Snaplii
To drive change in the North American fintech sector and create a super e-wallet to serve local users in North America.
 
2. PhantaField
Integrated light field AR display technology based on 2D materials.
 
3. Design with Frank
Design with FRANK is the first consumer centric design experience, allowing anyone to make well-designed homes that fit their exact needs without hiring architects.
 
4. LocalAway
LocalAway is a social fashion marketplace that creates and shops answers for what to wear, anywhere.
 
5. Speed Up Education
Extracurricular synchronized tutoring at overseas universities.
 
6. CarbonForm
High Performance Fiber Composites Additive Manufacturing.
 
7. Smart Tissues
Our innovative bio-ink allows human biological cells to grow as if they were in the mother's body.
 
8. Glee Trees
The product Gleematic (Yi Energy) is an RPA solution for robotic process automation supported by artificial intelligence and multilingual processing.
 
9. NeuronSpike
NeuronSpike is developing brain-inspired AI processor IP blocks and software APIs to deliver highly cost-effective and reliable machine learning for AI-driven companies.
 
10. SoundEyeIoT
Fall detection and prevention using depth sensing technology.
 
11. Krosslinker
Developer of a sustainable high performance thermal insulation material designed to tackle the demanding challenges of insulation industries starting from the pressing need in cold-chain market.
 
12. anthym
Anthym is pioneering the Connection category in the workplace and beyond, helping organizations inspire their people to bring their whole selves to work and other life pursuits.

After a fierce competition, "NeuronSpike" and "Design with Frank" were selected as the top 2 projects in the international semi-final round, and they will present in the final round.

NeuronSpike is developing brain-inspired AI processor IP blocks and software APIs to deliver highly cost-effective and reliable machine learning for AI-driven companies.

 
2、Design with Frank
Design with FRANK is the first consumer centric design experience, allowing anyone to make well-designed homes that fit their exact needs without hiring architects.
 
 
In addition to the two representative teams entering the finals, the project information of all international semi-final teams will be displayed to nearly 100 well-known investors. The entrepreneurial teams will also have the opportunity to obtain key resources in important areas of business growth through the tournament platform, such as government policy consultation, mainstream media interviews, entrepreneurial list recommendations, corporate office services, and business talent links.
