Abstract
The presentation will illustrate the main events and research projects organized and carried out by her laboratory of research on New Media (NuMe).
In particular, Professor Leopoldina will report on the research and theoretical advancements produced in four areas: educational robotics (3 studies); the role of social robots in the social and private reproduction sphere (4 studies); the nexus of social robots with culture, communication and media (5 studies); and various aspects of the attitudes towards and the use of social robots (5 studies).
Some of these studies are theoretical, but the majority of them is empirical. The methods applied are both quantitative and qualitative.
